As a United States Coast Guard Licensed Merchant Marine Captain (Ret.) having over 10,000 miles of open ocean experience in command of his vessel, Clinton Lanier has both the knowledge and experience to handle Maritime claims/boating accidents involving personal injury and property damage.  Mr. Lanier accepts selected cases involving injuries sustained as the result of negligent boat operation in both national and international waters, inland lakes and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Wrongful Death

In those instances where a wrongful death has occurred due to the negligence of another, Clinton Lanier provides concierge legal representation on behalf of the surviving family members to seek compensation and justice for the untimely loss of a loved one. Monetary compensation is sought for the value of lost support and services, companionship, mental pain-and-suffering of the survivors and other recoverable economic losses.

Mediation

Mr. Lanier has provided mediation services throughout the state of Florida as a Supreme Court of Florida Certified Circuit Civil Mediator since the year 2000, helping litigants reach settlements in well over 2000 cases to date. Clint maintains an active mediation practice in all areas of civil litigation, including torts, commercial law, condominium, real estate, insurance coverage disputes, insurance bad faith disputes and business litigation.
